I'd get the cat replaced while it's under warranty Mine bit the dust not long after it expired and I had to foot the bill.
It threw that code then started to rattle.

I never found anyone selling a stock downpipe.

Maybe I'll get lucky and find a shop that doesn't know what a factory cat on a vw looks like or doesn't care to look under the car.
maybe if I come in close to closing time,

Damn when I called magnaflow they even told me to put " self installed" for the dealer section of the install card.

i'm stumped I guess when smog time comes around I should have a few bucks saved for an OEM cat.

took it to a muffler shop had the problem fixed and came up with another. Apparently it's illegal to put an aftermarket cat on an OBDII car in CA. It must be OEM.
So I probably won't pass a visual inspection. Anyone know a shop in the bay area that won't look to hard under my car?

I went to a muffler shop today to have a peice of tubing welded under my car to replace some stuff I'd done to install this cat and they...

Before I got my car my uncle had a yakima rack on it. He origionally had it on his Izuzu Rodeo then they were able to order this plastic spoiler for the front that was tinted black plastic and said yakima on it.....pretty sweet I never really heard any wind noise inside the car either.

Help calculating an exhaust angle

What would be the best way to measure an angle between the tube exiting my CAT, and entering my resonator? I need to have a peice of tubing bent so I can connect the two which are offset from each other on my 99 jetta after installing my aftermarket magnaflow CC. I tried to measure and use a little ...
