I didn’t hear back from ya buddy, Well I took it to my Uncles shop in Fremont, Ran a quick test misfire in cylinder 2 and all the spark plugs look like they got a ton of carbon build up which looks like a leak in the fuel injector as well. Since it is a family owned shop I don't have to worry about ...

Engine light came on solid and then blinks

Engine light came on solid and then blinks, car shook as I accelerated lost of power felt like something snapped while I was driving on the freeway.

I’m thinking it has something to do with the air fuel mixture but I’m not that technical with stuff like this. Any idea what may have happened.

bluebora20v wrote:CAI + DV is very loud. You might want to just listen to people's setups...go to a GTG.

The HKS seems to work fairly well. You can also run the HKS recirculated (basically acts as a DV). People run hybrid valves effectively for the most part.

Ok what's a GTG?

So if I want a little noise as I shift like a BOV would do, should I just buy a CAI and DV? Im not looking for it to be insane crazy noise but I love the noise the turbo gives off.

I wouldnt know how to do that. But I would like to know how too. If you want your car to sound like it has a blow off valve just flip ur DV sideways. It have a sort of ping sound when you let off the gas much like a blow off valve would, and it does not hurt your car. I have been running it that way...
