We live in CA and A/C is a must :whoa: unless you drive a MKI, then you just deal with it... actually summers here in norcal are amazing IMO :thumb: Back where I'm originally from (MI/OH) summers get to be like a damn sauna, 90 degrees plus super high humidity...absolutely miserable at times. I don...

What belt to run when removing AC from 1.8T?

I thought I'd seen a thread elsewhere before, but I can't find it.

What belt to use when permanently removing ac from 1.8t?

Thx!

 Damn dood! That's a pretty slick idea. So here in Ca, are fix it tickets (such as no frt plate) just a signature & you're off?? No points? No fines?

I suppose I could always read the DOT manual, but I'm a lazy schmuck.

Believe me....it's the last thing on this earth I want to put on my car. As mentioned earlier I'm new to CA, if I don't do this what are my other options? I'm currently running w/o a front plate and was told I'm just asking to get pulled over. Is running the plate in the bottom RH corner of the wind...

I haven't had a chance to read through all the replies, so please forgive me if I missed something, but is there any caravans from the San Jose area heading up?

I'm new to the area and don't know too many people.

thx :thumb: ,
Jeremy
