That Sheldon Brown site is kinda cool. Found a little more info on my 531P frameset at the bottom of this link. Only double butted tubing, but pretty thin stuff. 1.9kg isn't too bad for a steelie... http://cyclespeugeot.com/PX10.html Now I'm starting to get an itch to dust this old beast off. I'm de...

Seems like everyone is building up bikes these days... Maybe I'll have to join the fun and do a rebuild on my old racer one of these days. In high school, I trained 1000 miles/month on the beast - but now I haven't touched it in prolly 5-6 years. I'm glad to see there are at least a few steel bikes ...

I appreciate the offer. I'm going to take my first swing at the B5 brakes. I've got experience doing disk brakes on Air cooled, MkII, and BX platforms, so it shouldn't be too bad. I picked up ATE plain rotors for the rear, PremiumOne's for the front and ATE pads all around for $205.73 through a budd...

Tempting...

I paid $600 for Michelin MXV's alone (on the same wheels,BTW) on the wifey's B5. Hers are down to maybe 10% tread right now... Let me check out the budget sitch as the B5 just decided it was time for new pads and rotors all around.

Hit me up with a little 411 on your education/experience etc. We *may* be looking for another ME at my place now or soon. Look at the site for a little info on what we do. The site isn't listing any engineering openings, but that doesn't mean anything. We just turned a placement firm loose with a wi...

There currently is no aftermarket open-air filter setup for the W8 (barely any aftermarket support for it at all), so there's nothing off the shelf that I can readily buy. I drive a Fox. I can relate. It doesn't surprise me that it would give you little/no problem being driven hard - plently of air...

Got plans for shielding it from the exhaust? Seems like a little isolation from the heat radiating off the manifold right there might be in order...

'Tis a comic book, in the link.

The Dark Tower Series rocks. You've got a good deal of reading ahead of you, but it's definitely worthwhile - if a little twisted.
