It's also a serious downfall in that whole argument against classic cars. It's ridiculous how retarded the people are that get to be in charge (hope that makes sense, long day at work) :thumb:

Who has chinese door handles

for their mk2? I'm really not down with the mk2 handles-especially in this cold-I'm just waiting for one to snap at this point.

Anyone buy the ones that ECS tuning sells? Any good?

I'm always open to other suggestions as well, thanks everyone :thumb:

Congrats Andrew

just jumped on the tex and saw your car. I'd hit them up though and remind them you reside in Chico, not Chino. I hate how they always mix that up

Anywho, congrats man :thumb:

Uh yeh. They're called winter sports, maybe you've heard of them? People strap boards to their feet and fly down mountains. Vail is kind of a big deal to people that do that.

I'll check. I'm almost positive there's a plug covering one hole under the pillar but I'll double check.

Oh, I'm also looking for a new shift boot and a kamei (or similar) golf ball shift knob.

WTB: Misc MKII Parts

Looking for a ton of stuff for my MK2 GTI, but I guess I'll edit this post as I go and just post the most pertinent crap... Regular 3pt seatbelts for the front (I really dislike the passive restraint system) and a complete set of seatbelts for the rear as well. Also looking for recommendations on qu...

Checking in

Well, I'm hanging out enjoying some days off and wanted to say herrro to everyone. I've been terrible at staying in touch with pretty much everyone at home, so I thought I'd give a lil group love and an update. I'm living in Vail, CO and have been since May of '08. I originally just came out for a c...

I don't know any dubbers there actually and I was looking for a mk2 vr in Colorado for a bit. There was a guy selling one, but it was white (didn't want to rip off Justin's style) and I think it was leaking oil. We found one in socal that fit the bill though. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Feel...

WTB: MKII (no jettas pls)

So here's the deal: I'm coming home for a short visit and during this time I'll be looking for a winter vehicle. As of right now, I haven't found a dub that will work. If I can't find a vw, I'll be forced to buy a 4x4 of some sort. I'd much rather have a 16v/vr6 gti (mk3s will be considered also if ...
