Climate lights

Postby ivor_carcamo » Sat Mar 10, 2007 12:01 am

My climate control lights have gone out in my 00 Passat and I don't know how to get them back on, could it be a fuse or do I have to take the whole thing apart, has anyone had this problem before? My wife's 99 Passat has also lost the climate lights. (it's the lights that come on at night when you turn on the driving lights...)

driving and I will dwell in the house of the Inline 4 Turbo forever!!!!!!"

I'm assuming it's the same for a passat but if you break something it's not my fault :p

Kind of on this note, my climate control light[s] will sometimes not come on with the other lights. Usually a thump to the console remedies the situation. However, yesterday, two thumps were required.
I don't want to be on a slippery slope of abuse.

Could the light just be loose?

mine's like that too, but i prefer them to be off, imo it looks better with my stereo if they are off. i may look into fixing it when i get back, though...

Lap dances ain't bad
