iPod hook up to stereo question

Postby j2thec » Wed Feb 11, 2009 1:40 pm

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and the norcal area, but long time VW fan. I just picked up an 05 GLI and I absolutely love it.

I want to hook up my Ipod to the factory Monsoon stereo...but I don't want to spend a ton of $ and I don't want to use a fm modulator or cassette adapter.

Does the factory Monsoon stereo have RCA's? Can I buy an inexpensive adapter to go from RCA to iPod? I don't need to control the Ipod thru the car stereo.

Any advice is greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance....

Here is another one. This one is a really nice and the ones I have seen are the easiest and simpliest to hook up. My dad is going to be ordering one for his jetta wagon.

Formely know as dtpvw. Eight valves of fury. Pushing it to the limits. Want more power.
