Should I buy a E30 M3?

Postby OMFGSTFUBBQ » Sun Apr 15, 2007 3:57 pm

I found a E30 M3 locally for 10k. It has 113 k miles and seems to be in very good condition. I'm gonna give the owner a call in the next few days and ask about all the records on the car and what not. Do you think it's worth it?

I would do it if everything seems to be in order.

y0 mang, you should go for it while you can since those are getting pretty rare, and 10k doesn't sound too bad considering the condition, check the interior + engine and if everything's coo just go for it bro

Well I'm gonna give the owner a call tomorrow. Then I gotta see if my bank will give me a loan for it. I also have to wait to hear back from my insurance about my truck.

Kinda late for that. I looked it up last night. Records are good except it was designated as a gross polluter once.

Yeah I know. It just didn't pass smog. So that isn't anything bad. All in all the car has a good record.

Alright so I found out how much I'm getting back from my insurance today. I am getting back 9,108. 4,300 of that has to go to my bank and that leaves me with the rest for the down payment on a loan. So I am hoping I can get into contact with the owner(called him earlier) and see if he still has the car. Hopefully I will get this baby.

It's Lucas beezy. Ends up the car was already sold when I called the owner. Oh well. I'm actually going to get a 02 WRX with 43k miles for 12k.

Damn. I'd trade my mk4 GTI for a clean E30 M3. In fact It's most likely for sale as soon as I get my 88 535is road worthy in a couple of weeks.

Rafael (shop manager) @ Schatz & Krum is selling a nice E30 M3. The car was a customer's car, so it's been serviced at Schatz & Krum for many years. If you want a car with lengthy service records, here's one.
