but damn i gotta say this chip eats gas!!!!

before i be getting 330-350 miles a tank stock chip., now im getting only 225 miles TT chip when my gas light turned on.......

heavy foot?,
I got 25mpg on my trip to s.f. on the new mk3 vr6, it's got a chip, magnaflow catback exhaust, k&n drop in filter. I'll be dropping in the 2.9L manifold I'm polishing and run that for a while. Latter I'll do 268 cam and a tt header ...maybe

The Mk3 is now legal with a Temp Op Permit(til July 2009, woo hoo), insurance, and just got it aligned yesterday. Bad news is I'm in dire need of control arm bushings :shoot:

The car is low, but not slow :wiggle:

Also, started swapping the front door panels to the leather ones to match the leather seats. 2 down, 2 to go. I'm missing various bits of the interior, like both lower dash panels and the steering wheel plastics (around the column). If anyone has some, please let me know

The only wife I've been sleeping with is mine... I think it was a kid playing ball and I may know who. Going to go talk to his parents tonight.

Stage 1 of Ermin's Hauz of Fox Rehab:

Image

Removed headlights and buckets, attempted to straighten out the rad support. Swapped 13's with questionable rubber for teardrops with known good rubber. Removed front bumper, disconnected battery to remove intake boot (has a tiny rip) and clean air flow meter.

In other news, the Mk3 Jetta got a front end swap (thanks Adam, I'll get your cash soon). Boser hood, mk4 style headlights with projectors, 6000k HID drop in's and angel eyes. Also got badgeless grille. Wired up and installed long turn signals.

Schweet. So the GLI sale was a cash & trade deal, huh? Noice! (Of course, I may be a tiny bit biased toward the BX wagons... :thumb: )

Good luck with the intake boot - they keep the new ones on the shelf just below the blocks of unobtanium. I think I may have just bought the last friggin' one in the States...

Not necessarily a mod, but I got 25.2 MPG on the W8 today

Also, if I had entered my car at Dubfest, I would have won 2nd place, considering the only other Passat was dub-nation/Bernie's

Testing the look, I don't know about it yet:

17 x 7" ASA Wheels, thanks to Jon/verruckter.

In other news, the Mk3's Temp Op permit expired, so I needed to get a smog for it like yesterday, literally

I'll do it on Monday :wiggle:
