houston we have an aircooled problem

hi again i havnt been around for about six months but today i was changing my fuel pump,pump pushrod,and the little plastic spacer/sleeve for the pushrod and when taking it off it shattered leaving part of it stuck in the block and i cant get it out. :thumbsdow

any ideas on what to do?
btw its a 71' vw bug 1600 dp

yeah sucks pretty hard.
i was thinking of just crushing it and letting it go into the engine then flush it a few times.

sweet thanks ill have to remind my dad to bring those home from his shop tomorrow.
cant wait to get this thing running again.
