There aren't too many people from that area on here. Look for vwabbitman on Vortex, he may know. He's not welcome here anymore, though...

K9jetta on here is almost up that high... Ukiah

humboldt here too... i agree, vwabbitman is a crazy mofo, and i don't know of any 93 octane around... if anybody has it, it's gonna be moore fuel... what are you looking to run it in? Renner in Eureka has race gas (105 i believe)...

also, if you're just running the 1.8t that you have in your profile on here, and it's stock, you should be cool with 91octane. justin (stag5abarado) runs 91 in his 1.8t, and i run it in my stage 4 g60 and my VR6... ran it in my old VR with GIAC chip, and after i rebuilt with 268 cams w/GIAC cam chip, and never had any issues.

93 octizzle

Postby Soxfan01 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:13 pm

Man that guy (vwrabbit) is popular. Just the other day I was at a Eureka stereo store, and one of the guys (maybe one of you?) told me to watch out for him.

I was looking at getting a unitronic chip tune, and 93 octane is one of the recommended programs.

hah, that's funny. eureka car stereo, i'm guessing? jay (name on here is "jay") works there, and vwabbitman was stopping by and just staring at him or something. he kept driving by my house too. awesome.
so yeah.. moore fuel is probably your best bet, and renner has race gas for sure... i know a couple of people that get it for their quads...

Yeah, Eureka car stereo. I think he said that he had a Cor. Sounds like the best place to get a install, my monsoon 6 disk skips like Pauly Shore.

I think that I'm going to just go with the 91 octane. Seems like the best bet, since my car is a daily driver. Just won a koni coilover set on ebay cheap btw. Super stoked.

You should check if there's a VP Racing in your area. I just put some in at $4.95. in San Leandro.
