EPC light won't go out.

Postby 1.8tjettaman » Sun Mar 23, 2008 5:50 pm

I had a hose come loose on my GLI and now my EPC light won't go out. I've tried everything I know to do restarting the car a few times driving it around. I did a quick check on the fuses nothin. So I don't want to go to the dealer tomm. but I might just to take care of this.

Have you tried unplugging the battery yet? At least with the dealer its still under warranty, right?

If you unplug the battery, I think you gotta leave it unplugged for a couple minutes for it to reset. At least with MK4s...

VAG-COM when? Unless it's under warranty then let the dealer fix it!

I'll let you know. I' gotta make a quick trip out to Kragens with it I'm hoping it will be out if not i'll discon the batt. I won't need the code I've done it before. IF that doesn't work I'l go by VVvw and have em look at it.
