ideas

So, I am ordering a K04 next week. My question to everybody is: Should I go with a side mount or with a front mount intercooler.

side mount homie..... your car is WAY too OE+ looking to run a front mount. IMHO it won't flow with the look you have going.

You will get enough flow out of the side mount, if you were planing on doing some crazy build where you would need a front mount down the road then maybe. Have you done the vented fender liner yet? Vented liner with an upgraded side mount..... also replace the restrictive pipes going in and out of the side mount. You could probably save money and stay stock intercooler for now, and upgrade the piping first.... then down the road get an aftermarket side mount.

These are all ideas I have been kicking around with the NB for a while now.

that's what i was thinking. I do have the oe vented fender liner. not sure what other pipe to replace besides the pancake pipe. but i was thinking about bringing a little bling to the car with a front mount.

stick with the side mount. the one you have should handle all of the power you are going to have.
