What belt to run when removing AC from 1.8T?

Postby j2thec » Mon Apr 13, 2009 10:53 am

I thought I'd seen a thread elsewhere before, but I can't find it.

What belt to use when permanently removing ac from 1.8t?

Thx!

A/C and/or P/S Delete Belt Size
No P/S and No A/C - 35"
No A/C - 44.5-45.5" (OEM Belt 06A 145 933 D or NAPA/UAP belt 25-060441 for 44.75" or 25-060439 for 45.5")
(above data works with BOTH OE pullies and ECS's lightened/underdriven pullies)

We live in CA and A/C is a must :whoa:

unless you drive a MKI, then you just deal with it...

actually summers here in norcal are amazing IMO :thumb:

Back where I'm originally from (MI/OH) summers get to be like a damn sauna, 90 degrees plus super high humidity...absolutely miserable at times. I don't think I could live there without a/c. Here is much more tolerable due to low humidity...just my 2 cents.
