WTB: Misc MKII Parts

Postby jduarte » Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:26 pm

Looking for a ton of stuff for my MK2 GTI, but I guess I'll edit this post as I go and just post the most pertinent crap...

Regular 3pt seatbelts for the front (I really dislike the passive restraint system) and a complete set of seatbelts for the rear as well.

Also looking for recommendations on quality headlight setups...

Thanks everyone :thumb:

smoked E codes are PIMP... So you are trying to get rid of the door belts and looking for the standard? I'll be at Pick and Pull this weekend and see what i can find. You will also need the pillars to change out the belts

See that's the weird thing...I looked at the pillars and they appear to be the correct ones already. I'll double check tho

Good place to buy smoked e-codes?

Thanks Landon

I'll check. I'm almost positive there's a plug covering one hole under the pillar but I'll double check.

Oh, I'm also looking for a new shift boot and a kamei (or similar) golf ball shift knob.

^^ I should say I have the throttle bodies and manifold....

Didn't notice Michelle was logged in, I picked up an 86 golf Diesel awhile back, its ugly and slow but gets 45-50 MPG without even trying, :baller:

some of the cars have the adjustable height seat belts and the pilars are made for that.
