Hey James, can you send me a shopping list for the chain job? (O2M, 24v GTI)

Thanks :thumb:

Jason

Tried pm, but you're full :eyes:

Also, would you recommend Peloquin or Quaife?

Hmm, hadn't heard of Wavetrack before. Did a little research and they look pretty cool, though cost a bit more than the quaifes, at least from autotech's website. They don't mention whether they come with the bolt kits either. I'm guessing not, which would make them even more. Still, it sounds like a very nice LSD...

So I can buy a Wavetrac from you James? They want almost a grand on autotech for the lsd and bolt kit. The cheapest I've seen the quaife is on vortex right now for somewhere around $850 with bolt kit iirc.

VWHure wrote:I have the Wavetrac, and it's rad. Ricky (Soo Euro) has a Quaif (iirc... or the older Peloquin, I don't remember to be honest), and I asked him after he drove my car, if he felt a difference, and he said no.

The way I understand it the only difference is when one wheel is off the ground the quaife/peloquin will spin that wheel still while the wavetrac will transfer more power to the outside wheel or stop the wheel that's off the ground. Otherwise its basically the same.

I guess I'll go with the wavetrac :baller:

Basically you guys are saying the wavetrac has more preload built in than quaife or peloquin.

So I guess v8 touaregs are also prone to this problem?. I'm getting a weird nose on the driver side part of the engine.... with 20k miles
