While at work I saw a silverstone/platinum gray Mk4 golf with a boser hood and an r32 bumper at the Santa Clara DMV, as well as a silver 4 door with blacked out logos, partial debadge, and an aftermarket exhaust in the same area.

I was in a considerably less impressive vehicle, a 2008 Toyota electro-coffin(Prius :eyes: )

Saw a black lowered GTI MK4 the other day on Northgate in Sac. We both nodded, I threw them the V. Blacked out emblems, liked the wheels :thumb:

This morning saw a nice old late model bug on 80 in West sac, I threw the V, he nodded back. Dog was his copilot :baller:

(Sonoma County area) Spotted an older bug, I'm guessing 58-67, one Sunday. It was black with either red wheels or red two tone sides... or both, my memory is pretty bad. It also had a roof rack and trunk rack. You were heading up Bodega Hwy towards the town of Bodega. I was on the side of the road with my buddy and our fixed gears. I also saw you Saturday night cruising down 4th street in Santa Rosa with another bug. You've got a super sick ride, I'm lovin' it!

Seeing more modded of which generation VW? Curious what's out there. I make the same commute every day and I think I see the same cars each time, each way...maybe I should carpool.

I know this post is over a year old but that wagon is SECKSY!

I would trade my Jetta TDI for a wagon in a heartbeat...

About 5:30 tonight saw a silver or white MK2 Scirocco with some BBS type wheels on Northgate in Sacramento pulling out of the Napa. Too dark to say hi. You turned left on Del Paso and I turned right. I was in my Green MK2 GLI.
